Watercolor Family Portraits

I sent this item to the recipient as a gift but never saw the finished product. I would have loved to been sent a picture

We ordered two watercolor portraits, one with a woman holding an infant and standing with Christ, and the other of a man standing with Christ. The artist followed my requests perfectly. The figures are exactly how I wanted them. One of the people I gave the portrait to liked it, but wondered why Christ's hands look dirty. I pointed out the holes in his hands which possibly gave them a dirty appearance. I don't know a way around this except for maybe changing the coloring slightly. I was happy with the purchase and so were the receivers of the gifts.
